Story:
'Anumaanaspadam' is a suspense thriller based on hunt for the treasure of Late Sandalwood Smuggler Veerappan. Basu (AryanRajesh) works as a Journalist for QTV. When Veerappan was shot dead, Basu goes to the jungle to cover the news for his channel.While returning he meets Chakravarthi, another Journalist who secretly covered the personal life story of Veerappan and about Veerappan's hidden treasure. The van in which they travel meets with accident. Chakravarthi handovers his information on Veerappan to Basu and dies. Later Basu refers the information and knows about the place of hidden treasure. He goes to the forest for the hunt along with Devika (Hamsa Nandini), Suri (close friend of Basu) and few other members. While the hunt begins, Each of his gang members gets killed by unknown people. Basu assumes that Veerappan is alive and it is the plot of Veerappan behind the serial killings. How Basu finds the main culprit is rest of the story.
